DIY: Double Slit Midi Skirt (thrifted)

Here's my very first, undoubtedly simple tutorial.
I thrifted this skirt a while back for less than 2 bucks! I was a bit hesitant at first, since seafoam green isn't necessarily my go to color. Nonetheless I'm excited I ended up purchasing it.

This is the very first time I ever wore it, as you can tell a few things have changed since then.  Hope you guys enjoy, and tell me which look you like best.

Now let's get started... Lay the skirt on a flat surface. Line up the side seams together. Measure an equal distance from each seam, this is where you will make the two incisions.

Once you have your slits and you are happy with how high they go up (I always say the higher, the better). Make sure you spray anti fray/zig zag stitch/serge whatever your technique may be so that the raw edges don't fray.

Then all you need to do is hem and TA DA!
Done!

Style and Enjoy!
